The firm has an ever increasing landlord and tenant client base. We are highly experienced in this difficult area of law. The majority of the firm’s work is landlord based but the firm happily accepts instructions from tenants. The firm currently acts for a large number of residential and commercial clients with properties all over Scotland.

Heritable property is an important asset. It is imperative that the client gets a return on the investment. A sitting tenant who is not paying rent is not giving the client necessary return. The firm acts quickly to recover possession and gives advice on the steps which can be taken to recover unpaid rent.

For the tenant it is imperative that he or she enjoys peaceful enjoyment of the rented property and that if steps are being taken by a landlord to recover possession, that the steps being taken are lawful. Again the firm helps with advice to tenants who are perhaps unsure as to what their rights might be.
